BJE facilitates these networks to hel professional groups (e.g. principals, Hebrew language teachers, Judaic staff, and specialists) grow and learn together. Networks include: Heads of Schools Council, Early Childhood Directors’ Network and more.
Continuing Professional Education efforts take many forms: conferences, workshops, and seminars to expand the skill of Jewish educators.

BJE recognizes excellence in Jewish education by honoring exemplary educators. Generous community philanthropists have funded The Milken Family Foundation Jewish Educator Awards, the Lainer Awards for Jewish educators in early childhood and complementary Jewish education, and the Smotrich Family Foundation Award of Merit for excellence in teaching in religious schools. Local award-winning early childhood educators are also nominated for the prestigious Grinspoon Award for Excellence in Jewish Education.
